Overall the researchers said 73 percent of the patients responded positively to Vera Amil sold under the Trade name Calan. The other drugs Ateno lol and Cap Opril had 60 percent and 57 percent effectiveness. Among those patients needing higher doses 83 percent responded to treatment with Vera Amil compared with 59 percent on Ateno lol and 62 percent on Cap Opril.
