Eight Man football players will not be considered for stars and stripes All Europe recognition. Eleven Man and eight Man football Are two completely different games and there absolutely is noway to make fair comparisons Between the two to reconcile the statistics in the wide open High scoring eight Man pattern to the 11-Man game. I realize it May seem unfair to the eight Man football players not to be considered. There have been players on eight Man teams in the past and i am sure there Are some this year who would Star on 11-Man squads. However unless and until someone comes up with a reliable method of equalizing the statistics i stand by our being eligible for a amps All Europe football consideration has no effect on an athletes chances for stars and stripes athlete of the year recognition.
