My family and i have been stationed in Germany for Over four years now. Counselor when he Felt that situations were out of his control. The teachers and staff at Sembach elementary and Middle schools generally have been supportive and understanding with him and us. I have great respect for educators t believe they do an enormously important Job for too Little pay. A couple of years ago when my Stepson was attending the elementary school and had been Quot acting out Quot too frequently i asked a staff member who had been counselling my Stepson if there was an african american teacher or staff member at either the elementary or Middle school who could perhaps work with the kid. There was t then and i have no reason to believe that there is now. This brings me to the Crux of my letter. Could expand the choices and still provide Only 30 percent calories from fat. Skim Dairy z Servings lean meat 6 ounces fruits $ secy tags vegetables 7 Servings starches 6 Servings a 3,000-calorie diet fats 9 Servings appropriate for most men to maintain weight. A a a8 in be been wondering what the recruiting policies for the department of defense dependents schools Are a 1 does Dodds actively recruit or does an educator have to Contact Dodds for a position 2 is the racial background of an educator taken into consideration at All when he or she is considered for acceptance and specific position. 3 is there any sort of quota system in hiring teachers so that the school staff will reflect the racial mix of students if Dodds policy is anti quota because quotas Are discriminatory then that reasoning is Picayune compared to the larger Issue at hand. The question Here has to do with role modelling let me state right now that am not trying in any Way to imply that non minority teachers can t be effective educators for minority students. However groups who have an abundance of role models May tend to downplay the importance of role models to those who Don t. Also i would think that All educators minority or otherwise would jump at the Chance to spend some time overseas with the sponsorship that Dodds provides.
