Gary Mccullough a spokesman for operation Rescue said Mahoney was arrested As he arrived at the Airport in Wichita. Mccullough said before the court appearance that operation Rescue had no plans to comply with Kelly a order to Post a $100,000 Bond. Beating Case los Angeles a the judge assigned to the trial of four White police officers charged in the videotaped beating of an unarmed Black Motorist was removed from the Case wednesday by an appeals court. The 2nd District court of Appeal granted a defense petition that claimed Superior court judge Bernard Kamins was biased. Kamins had insisted he was impartial. The judges court had closed for the Day by the time the appeals court issued its ruling and he could not be reached for comment. A prosecutor in the Case said Kamins could ask the California supreme court to review the matter. The officers face assault charges in the March 3 beating of Rodney King. The beating was videotaped by a witness and was broadcast nationwide bringing a National Fri investigation of police brutality. Sgt. Stacey Koon and officers Laurence Powell Timothy wind and Theodore Briseno Are charged with assault under color of authority and related offences. All have pleaded innocent.
