The Law which was to be lifted in september has been extended to allow the romanian adoption commission More time to select the foreign agencies that will handle the adoptions said Patricia l. The Law signed by president Ion Iliescu ended adoptions of romanian children by foreigners while the commission was formed to regulate what was essentially a free Market system of adoption. A my Best guess is that after Christmas the new agencies will be announced a Hall said. A right now we do not know which ones will be  until then about 7,000 children Between Ages 1 and 3 and about 13,000 Between Ages 3 and is will await adoption in orphanages or family Homes approved by the romanian government Hall said. Before adoptions were stopped prospective parents were allowed to adopt children from hospitals orphanages or parents Hall said. Larry Wanberg the Agency a Liaison in Europe said Dillion will help military families in Europe adopt children should his Agency be recognized by the romanian commission.
