Ark. A gov. Bill Clinton plans to announce next week whether he will join the expanding list of candidates seeking the democratic presidential nomination a spokesman said wednesday. Clinton who is expected to enter the race will announce his intentions at a news conference thursday outside Arkansas original state Capitol in downtown Little Rock said spokesman Mike Gauldin. Gauldin refused to reveal Clinton a plans but three Clinton advisers said they expected the governor to join the Field. Four years ago Clinton was on the verge of entering the 1988 presidential race when he backed out and scuttled plans for a major announcement the next Day.
