The Vitis Tennis amp Squash Center in Nordenstedt and the Tennis Halle Christ in Hochheim also will be utilized the first two Days. Wiesbaden is the Host school. Matches beginning at 8 a.m., Are scheduled on All three synthetic based courts thursday and Friday. All of saturdays action is scheduled at the Rhein main Tennis Center. Thirty two schools will be competing in the tournament Down one from last year because of the draw Down forced closing of Ulm. Each school can enter a boy and girl in singles and a boy and girl in doubles in the double Elimina Seddon Brown Tion tournament. Coaches played most of their athletes in both singles and doubles during the year in order to give them More experience. However a player can compete in Only one category in the Central european championships and the coaches had to make some last min Ute decisions before the official seedlings were made following last weeks regular season finales. Its too bad that the schools can Send so few players to the Central europeans because there Are a lot of Good Tennis players who deserve a shot at a Dodds championship. Many schools have super Tennis programs whose nos. 2 and 3 players could beat the no. Is from other schools. It would be Nice if something could be arranged for the Tennis players to compete in conference or regional qualifying tournaments a like wrestling Cross country and track and Field do a so that All the top performers would have the Opportunity to Advance to the championship meet. Competition As usual has been keen again this fall and the committee had a Tough Job making the sced Ings.
