This had been Well advertised for about three weeks by television and radio. The music started at 9 p.m., and for about 40 minutes it contained a mixture of soul and �?T50s and �?T60s. Around 9 45 the music shifted from �?T50s and �?T60s to soul and disco for the remainder of the evening. Both my husband and i continuously requested �?T50s and �?T60s music but were accommodated Only a few times. When i approached the do about a request i had made earlier he commented that he goes by what he sees on the dance floor. When he played upbeat �?T50s and �?T60s music such As the twist that i had requested the dance floor was full. When i approached him while the disco music was being played there were Only two couples dancing. This do just laughed when i mentioned that it was advertised As a �?T50s and �?T60s night. When i approached the manager of the club with my complaint he confirmed it was supposed to be �?T50s and �?T60s music and that was where our conversation ended. This was the first time my husband and i have gone out since new years eve. We had been planning this evening for More than three weeks. My family and i recently visited one of our local Heaters to watch a movie that had been Long waited for. Because of the misconduct that went on inside we left very dissatisfied. There was a Section of teen agers about five rows full who were excessively loud and used the most foul profane language that i have Ever heard. The obscenities that spilled from their Mouths were atrocious. It was More than an embarrassment to Many of the families in attendance. The vulgarity that they spoke and the forceful cutting in the ticket and Concession lines were Only the prelude to what happened next. During the playing of the National Anthem these same teen agers flatly refused to stand. Many of us told them to stand but were Only laughed at. The theater manager was notified but nothing was done. They continued to be loud and disruptive where they should have been removed from the theater with no refund for their tickets. Needless to say i have been to the theater Only one time since this incident. Again the same kids were there doing the same unruly things As before. As a member of the american military and As a Parent i am appalled at the manner in which today a teen agers Are allowed to go free and undisciplined by our society. I can Deal with teen agers who Are having a Good time but the degrading abusive language As Well As the Disho Noring of our Flag the National Anthem and what it Means is More than Many of us can stomach from the very people we consider As Young adults.
