The request has plunged from $62 million in fiscal �?T92 to $279,715 in fiscal �?T93. The total comprises $35,600 slated for Germany $7,600 for Greece $9,315 for the azores $6,000 for the United kingdom and $221,200 for unspecified projects at nato installations. The request is part of the Pentagon a $10.2 billion request for building projects worldwide in fiscal 1993. In All the request includes almost 500 construction projects at More than 250 locations. Defense department officials noted they Are seeking $3.2 billion for operating and maintaining the 418,000 family housing units for service members worldwide. The request includes $2.5 billion to help installations meet requirements of Laws protecting the environment both stateside and overseas and $2.2 billion for base closure expenses officials said.
