Faa spokeswoman Elly Brekke in los Angeles said Vang flight 830 from Brazil a 747-400, had been told at least six times to land on a parallel runway but continued its approach to the same runway for which us air flight 2251, a 737-300, had received Landing clearance. About one mile from the end of the runway with the 747 somewhat ahead of the 737 and about one eighth mile above it the 747 decided to break off its approach.
