I work in the office of a cardiologist and help run cardiac stress tests on patients. The Law requires that the cardiologist be present during this exam. The patients Are Given specific appointment times and they Are always prompt. The problem is that the physician is often an hour or More late. Invariably the patients take out their anger on the technical and nursing staff. I have told these people to let the physician know How they feel but no one Ever does. Even the most irate patient becomes a pussycat the moment the doctor enters the room. The cardiologist will give the patient some excuse about an emergency somewhere which is rarely the Case. Why done to these patients realize that they Are paying dearly for terrible service very few people would tolerate such irresponsible behaviour from anyone else whose services they were paying for and i might add doctors these Days done to come cheap. I believe if More people would speak up and remind the physician that the patients time is just As important As the doctors and let the a a employees know who is a Boss a this problem would quickly disappear. This tends to make some doctors arrogant and inconsiderate. If a Sitter is going to be at our Home during mealtime we always buy enough food for her. Here a the problem some of these kids act As if they never get a meal at Home for example one Sitter ripped through the entire cupboard and fridge trying a Little bit of everything leaving All the packages open. Another one ate an entire Box of snack crackers every time she sat for us. She also ate two full bags of potato chips. A third Sitter came at 2 . And announced that she had not had any lunch. 1 told her i had not planned on feeding her so there Wasny to much to eat. Well she helped herself to two cans of Cream of mushroom soup a half loaf of bread Toast and a Jar of marshmallow or Fame in be tried talking to these kids leaving notes and hiding the goodies we had bought for entertaining. Nothing has worked. Also i wonder where my children were when All this mass consumption was going on. The last Straw was when a Sitter sent our children to their rooms for a a a Nap they Are 8 and 10 for an hour and a half while she cleaned out the fridge. Only after we took her Home did we discover she had eaten our dinner and wiped out a weeks Supply of luncheon meat. Now what _ fed up with feeding them dear fed up leave nothing to Chance. If your Sitter is going to sit during a mealtime set aside the meal she is to have Point it out so there will be no misunderstanding and Tell her that she is not to help herself to anything else.
