I done to like How the japanese Are talking about american workers i.e., we re Lazy and we done to produce Quality products. I also done to like the reaction from american citizens smashing up japanese made cars and Spray painting racist remarks on japanese american Homes. I recall in 1986 that a japanese lawmaker said minorities were the reason americans have Low sat scores but people complained except the minorities. I also recall that some stores in Japan sold dolls with stereotypical features of Blacks. The Japan washers said nothing. And that comment comparing Blacks with prostitutes who bring Down the value of neighbourhoods when they move in hardly warranted a word of complaint from the a buy american crowd. Why Arentt those Japan washers bashing their own Bosses a for example the Auto executives who sell out their employees by making their cars in places like Mexico where they can pay foreign workers less than they pay american workers to paraphrase a line from a rapper they re Yelling a buy american a but they made it in Mexico. Bohms letter regarding flight Mc-46 at Rhein main a Germany on feb. 8 was exactly How it happened. The plane was two Days late and people with Smalt children were running out of food diapers Etc. However he failed to mention another group of people waiting for that flight. I was also waiting for the flight with my husband and 5-year-old son and we were on emergency leave. I received a Call from my family on thursday my husband went through All the red tape Friday and we drove to Rhein main a to catch our flight on saturday morning. My father was being discharged from the Hospital so he could go Home to die and time was extremely crucial. As the flight kept getting delayed my husband tried extremely hard to get us on another flight but he was told by the non commissioned officer in charge that there were no flights leaving commercial or otherwise. They then put us All up in hotels with a representative from the terminal in each hotel. During the night or Early morning in a not sure when each representative gathered All the emergency leaves from their respective hotels and got them on another flight to the states except the woman we had at our hotel. She Wasny to sure who the emergency leaves were and did no to bother trying to find out. As we sat around the terminal again All Day sunday we watched As a flight leaving for Charleston s.c., took off. I Stop crying by this Point since repeated Calls to my Mother told me my father was barely hanging on and asking for me. When by 9 that night they told us we were going to hotels again my husband suggested they bus us to Cologne and take off from there. They agreed. We took off from Cologne at 4 . On monday morning. To show you How close we came to missing my father we arrived at our final destination Nashville tenn., on if Black africans want Progress All the tribes must work train and organize to defeat the biggest enemy of democracy and liberties. The White apartheid conservative party is taking away from the africans their Basic human rights and wealth. Africans must set aside tribal differences for now. Pro apartheid tactics of Black against Black Are working. They do not want All Black africans together. If they were together they would be Strong. It is obvious that the White minority does not want to share Power with the Black majority. I do not believe that violence can bring any changes however if South african president . De Klerk and african National Congress Leader Nelson Mandela do not succeed South Africa will become a Battleground for More civil War. A sgt. 1st class Rafael Castro icon Wurzburg German fund Raiser a appalling on March 16, i read about a slave auction held at in Ciurlik a Turkey sponsored by the Dodds senior class to generate funds for their yearbook. I find it appalling that the school would allow this Type of event to take place. Slavery is not a fun thing especially Given our history. I consider it a slap in the face to the gains Black people have managed to accrue since our ancestors were liberated from bondage. There Are so Many creative ways for a class to raise funds for special projects other than exploiting very sensitive ethnic situations. I just wanted you to know that As a Black woman the message i received from Reading this was both insulting and offensive. A Gwendolyn Goodlett Wiesbaden German letters to the editor Bible misinterpreted my response to the letter a Bible says inflict pain March 16 was of utter disgust and Hurt. Although the Man had the Bible quotes Correct and there is no doubt in my mind that he has read the word of god i do doubt that he has read it with an open heart and unbiased attitude. I strongly suggest he read proverbs 10 13 again. A in the lips of him that hath understanding.
