I received two first class letters on March 16 that were both postmarked feb. 10, one was a Bill that was machine typed in the required four line format and the other a personal letter was Handwritten using the Correct codes but expanded the format to five lines. The format of the addresses must not have been the problem since they both arrived the same Day. What made matters worse was that the Bill was overdue by the time  arrived. I Wasny to surprised two Days later when i received another Bill from the same company with the added interest penalty. However i was surprised that the second Bill took Only seven Days to arrive. Was it pure Chance that my mail and the previous writers mail both postmarked feb. 10, arrived about the same time a month later since the previous writer did not mention his packages being dissent to a wrong Apo and since we Are both stationed in England i am assuming that the reason it took four Days longer for my letters to arrive is because they were both stamped a a dissent to Apo 09238/09470.�?� could an entire bag of mail have been misplaced for month did anyone else experience this same problem on the same Day in the same country or was this just a coincidence a Craig Marquardt Raf Fairford England exceptions to racism id like to comment on the responses to a reverse  i Haven to read a response from anyone who got the writers Point. Pentagon building is in a serious state of disrepair and that supposedly we need a new building altogether. Because it would take billions of american tax dollars to make that possible i have two ideas Washington could consider. First in these Days of budget cuts military draw Downs and smaller paychecks for the few Lucky remaining service members a self help program May be a worthwhile alternative. Yes the Pentagon staff As hardworking and dedicated As i know it can be could do the improvements in its spare time if that a what it would take to save the country a lot of Money. I am aware of several self help projects at our last base that were quite successful involving rebuilding redesigning repair of plumbing electrical systems and carpentry of dormitories and Squadron buildings. Sure self help projects Are specially funded. In the Case of the Pentagon it could mean a lot less tax dollars being used. Second maybe put to work those already trained with the necessary skills our now unemployed sex servicemen and women. Several if not most of these people have families to support. Keep them working. This would certainly also save tax dollars. Do we need a Brand new Pentagon Why not find a practical Way of fixing the one we already have stretch the Dollar do More with less.
