A Good Day for Faire knights annual fete brings the Middle Ages alive at Minzenberg Castle swords were flying and burgers were frying As medieval times met modern tastes at the 14th annual Renaissance Faire in Minzenberg Castle near Butzbach. The weekend of pageantry and pomp beggars and bards and Maidens and musicians was hosted by the friends of the Keller theatre and Giessen s Community recreation division entertainment staff. The event last weekend Drew several thousand germans and americans from across Central Germany. Musicians in medieval garb strolled the grounds artisans hawked their wares and knights fought with shining swords. For the More 20th Century minded local military Community organizations sold food drinks and souvenirs. A German Artisan puts the finishing touches on a Pewter Goblet.
