Last month in the ruined old City of Frankfurt the Twenty four performers did their stints nine times each week they  two shows on saturdays and sundays and once each Day Gisela. Lenort Star of the show walked a three Quarter Inch wire stretched from the spire of the bombed out Nicholai Kirche to Frankfurt s Dom 250 Yards away. Eighteen year old Gisela five years a trouper is pretty enough so that some american observers said they bet she gets to Hollywood if a he troupe s Hope of an american tour materializes. She is one of six girls in the act youngest is a ten year old named Hella Farber who have been trained by Hans Zimmer manager and founder of the show. Zimmer believes in chills and thrills for his audiences. Their salaries Range from thirty to 120 Marks a Day for one and a half hour performances. They must also put in eight hours a Day of practice. Because the work is arduous they receive Semi heavy workers rations Hope soon to get the heavy workers allotment. It really takes muscle As Well As balance to walk the tight rope. Gisela explains.
