Convicted of hazing Parris Island . A a . Marine Drill instructor was convicted by a special court martial of hazing recruits at Parris Island it was announced thursday. A spokesman at the training base said s. Sgt. Kenneth w. Smith 26, was found guilty late wednesday. He was one of three instructors acc Secl of harassing trainees by forcing them to climb Over and under Neir bunks and go through excessive bar Racks cleaning details. One of the instructors was acquitted during the separate courts martial. Smith and the other convicted instructor were Given reprimands for their files.
