After waiting for her appointment for a few weeks i went and asked Why she had not received it yet. The lady in Central appointments a Wurzburg said that by the time she got through they were booked already. This kind of thing has been going on for four weeks now. I had the feeling she was t doing her Job so i went to complain. I was told that the neurologist Only took about six appoint ments a week and indeed by the time Wurzburg s Call got through to Lan Stuhl he was All booked up. I was also told that someone else had been waiting four or five weeks longer than i have. I can understand that the hospitals Are understaffed and the doctors Are Over worked. But there still has to be a Bette system for getting referrals in. With All the hospitals and dispensaries that use Lan Stuhl and the present system my daughter will be waiting for Ever to get her appointment. It seems to me that if the appointments went by the dates on the referrals it would be a much better system. In some cases it May take longer but it would certainly be More fair. In any Case it would be better than waiting for your Hospital to be Lucky enough to get its phone Call in Wurzburg Germany editor s note maj. Leonard m. I got very disgusted about having to pay the Indiana state taxes. My husband was born there but has t lived there since 1959. He has t been paying state tax during much of this time because he was told that As a Serviceman he did t have to. I d gladly pay taxes to the european country we live in now and in which we May retire but not Indiana. I wrote the state Revenue department sarcastic letter pointing out that since we now pay taxes they should do something about the conditions we have to live under Here. Conditions such As bad roads inadequate housing crowded classrooms contaminated drinking water in our Village and Lack of play areas for the children. I just wanted them to see How foolish it is for us to be living Here and still having Topay taxes to them. So what did they do they sent me dozen tax forms to fill out for i Don to How Many years i could t believe it talk about picking on the helpless they won t even give my husband his Vietnam vet s Bonus.
