Storen. 42, commented shortly after Turner announced his ouster As president and general manager of the hapless Hawks. He had headed the National basketball association club Only nine months. The flamboyant Turner who also owns the Atlanta braves baseball team and recently won the America s cup yacht race said Storen was fired Over disagreements. There were a lot of things we disagreed on that s the primary reason and that s really All i have to say Turner said in a news conference. He said Hawks Board member Mike Gearon would serve without pay to assist in any Way he can to help the  Turner also named coach Hubie Brown As director of player personnel. No successor to Storen was immediately named. The firing ended two Days of rumours about the dismissal of Storen once com missioner of the now defunct american basketball association and former general manager of the Kentucky colonels and in Diana pacers of the Aba. The ousted president also said he had had conflicts with Brown. From Jan. 3 when i came Here until last saturday i have never made one proposal for a Trade that was agreeable to Hubie Brown he said.
