Justice said is to end the Selec Tive Long distance busing of High school children residing on Davis Monthan air Force base in Tucson. Only children of military personnel arc bused solely for the purpose of achieving ethnic balance in the Tuc son school District the complaint alleged. It said that local Tucson children arc not similarly bused. The complaint said that singling out federally connected children for ethnic balance busing violates their rights under the  Protection clause of the Constitution and also directly breaches the contractual Assur ances made by inc District in Exchange for Federal Finan Cial assistance in the construction of its  attorney general Edwin a Csc Iii has said he docs not believe Cross town busing to achieve school desegregation has furthered the Quality of education.
