Drain on paper towels and serve with sugar. Pickert in Der Pfanne potato pancakes with raisins All the preceding ingredients above except 1 cup flour instead of 2 Tablespoons 3 ounces raisins 1/2 cup milk 1 Tablespoon sugar 1/2 Teaspoon baking powder Oil. Mix All ingredients and Fry As above. Use a bit less Kirsch Knoedel potato dumplings with cherries 1 Pound potatoes 1 cup flour 1 Tablespoon Cream 1/2 Tablespoon butter for the Batter 2 Tablespoons butter for the Topping a Pound fresh cherries 2 Tablespoons breadcrumbs Peel boil and Mash the potatoes. Mix in the flour Cream egg and butter to make a dough. Pit the cherries. Roll out the dough on a floured surface and Cut it into 2-Inch squares. Chop the onion and Bacon and Fry them until the onion is Clear. Grate the potatoes. Add the potatoes to the frying pan and mix thoroughly. Season with Salt and Pepper. Fry Over a Low heat until you get a Golden crust. Carefully turn the potatoes without breaking the Pancake by turning them Over onto a lid and then sliding them Back into the pan. Fry until this Side is browned too. The frying should take half an hour in All. Serve with hamburgers and a salad. Kaes Roesti cheese Roesti same ingredients As above except 3 ounces grated Emme Taler instead of Bacon. Mix the cheese in with the potatoes before you put them into the pan. Prepare As above.
