A statement said three employees of Libya s embassy in Madrid were being told to leave the country for taking part in activities incompatible with their duties and fun  the foreign ministry statement also said the govern continued on Page 28 car bomb Kis 5 c/v/7 guards in Madrid Madrid Spain a a car bomb exploded in a fashionable District of Central Madrid Early Friday killing five paramilitary soldiers in a passing vehicle police said. Joaquin Leguina president of the Madrid regional government told Spanish Tele vision the blast appeared to be the work of the Basque separatist organization Eta. Four other paramilitary civil guards and two civilians also were Hurt by the blast police said. The explosion occurred at 7 25 . On Juan Bravo Street in the Salamanca District As a land Rover with the civil guards drove by. Police said it appeared that the bomb had been planted in a car parked along Juan Bravo Street and that the blast seemed timed to the daily approach of the vehicle carrying the civil guards. Madrid civil governor s office spokesman Antonio Molina said the vehicle had picked up guards coming off the night watch at the italian embassy and was taking other guards to the Day shift at the soviet embassy and the ministry of Public health. Three of the paramilitary soldiers died instantly and two others died an hour later in a Hospital. Shortly after the blast the american school in suburban Arivaca Northwest of the City received a bomb threat school Secretary ariane Doorenbos told the associated press. A dozen policemen rushed to the school and found no bomb but the 700 primary and secondary pupils were sent Home for the Day she said. Witnesses said the bomb blast also heavily damaged two floors of the san Antonio de Rosario maternity clinic located near the Corner of the intersection of Juan Bravo and Principe de Vergara streets. Clinic personnel said Newborn babies had been moved from a lower floor less than 20 minutes before the blast. The explosion blew apart the land Rover threw bodies onto the sidewalk destroyed several other cars and a Telephone Booth and showered the nearby intersection at Principe de Vergara Street with broken Glass. Witnesses said that a car just ahead of the land Rover also was destroyed by the blast but that a following vehicle also carrying paramilitary soldiers was not dam aged. Police and firemen rushed to the scene and immediately blocked off the area As relatives struggled to get near the bodies of the civil guards that Lay covered by blankets. Onlookers screamed against Eta calling the Basque separatists murderers and Assas sins. There have been seven other car bomb attacks in Spain since 1982, causing seven deaths.
