The students Are so enthusiastic about the program that roughly one of every three in grades nine to 12 participate in the Junior Reserve officer training corps program. It was a real Challenge to bring 130 students together and turn them into a Bunch of Roth kids then turn them into a battalion Davis said. Kaiserslautern took the trophy for Best Overall unit a trophy that rotates Between winners of the Safe contests. But that was last week. Next year there will be another Competition a title to defend and a trophy to try to keep. Next year Well be the ones people Are shooting for Peveto an 11th grader said. And so comes the need for teamwork. The students Learned that lesson Well the Day of the Competition. It was the first event regulation Drill. Cadet maj. Cathy Cyr was putting the unit through its motions when a command called from another part of the contest area confused her. I just blanked she recalled. I know that routine in my sleep. In the color guard she did Excel  Kaiserslautern s color guard unit won Best in Safe.
