A two time olympic Gold medallist Greg Louganis completed his expected domination of the . Diving outdoor championships sunday by winning the men s 10-meter platform his third title of the meet. Louganis of Boca Raton fla., received 632.58 Points for his 10-dive program in capturing his record 47th National title. Cynthia Potter who s retired is second on the All time list with 28. In the women s platform Wendy Lian Williams established herself As the reluctant favorite for next month s olympic trials by winning her second National title in four months. Louganis won the 1-meter springboard Crown thursday and the 3-meter Friday. It was his sixth sweep in the last eight National championships. Bruce Kimball of Ann Arbor mich., was second with 626.31. Preliminaries Winner Mike Wantuck of Columbus Ohio was third at 608.61. Scores from the preliminaries were not carried Over to the finals. I m very satisfied with my performance but i still have work to do Lou Ganis said. Everybody else is going to get better so i can t let  preliminary scores will be counted Dur ing the trials to determine the two Ameri can entrants at Seoul. Had preliminary scores been used at this meet Kimball and Wantuck would have finished 1-2. They should look at that As a positive because they have a really Strong Chance of making it Louganis said. However Louganis does not believe an analogy can be drawn Between the outdoor championships and the trials. I did t treat this meet like the trials because it s a Long meet Louganis said. Its hard to maintain your concentration with so Many  Louganis will face 12 challengers at the trials compared to the 34 he met during wednesday s preliminaries. This could be Louganis final National championship appearance for a while. I m not completely ruling out diving for the next two years but i want to emphasize on concentrating on my acting Ca reer said Louganis who has not ruled out a shot at the 1992 olympics either.
