Charlie can Only Echo his brother i Don t the film has Many unexpectedly funny and poignant moments particularly when Charlie hits on the idea of putting Raymond s math skills to use in Las vegas As the Brothers slowly teach each other about life. Golino has such a heavy accent that she has trouble with her lines sometimes but she shows Promise. You expect Hoffman to be great and he is. But the big Surprise is cruise toning Down that megawatt Grin to show that he has much Talent in what is surely his Best role to Date. Rain Man earns three and a half stars falling a half Star Short of top rating Only because Hoffman while certainly a Superb technician is such a method performer that i m constantly reminded that he s acting if that makes sense.
