The dec. 21 memo sent to air Force and army communities and major commands outlines the status of major construction projects by department of de sense dependents schools in Germany through 1996. School officials plan to update the memo in Germany Region facilities official cautioned wednesday that the three High schools and the elementary were part of a wish list subject to change or Cancella Tion. The schools were listed under fiscal years 1992-96.a site has been found for Uhle born elementary which would serve about 300 children in grades kindergarten through six. The school which would be located in the Uhle born housing area about six Miles from Mainz would draw students from either Mainz elementary or Hai Norberg elementary in Wiesbaden the official estimates put the Cost at $5.1 million. School officials Are anxious to find a site near Darm Stadt for a High school to relieve pressure on Frankfurt High school the facility official said. Darmstadt Stu dents Are bused to Frankfurt. Preliminary plans Call for about 500 students in Grade nine through 12 to attend the Darmstadt facility. The Region first sought to build a High school on Rhein main a in lieu of the Darmstadt project the official said but abandoned the idea when a site on the base could not be obtained. He said West German officials rejected one proposed site in the Darmstadt Only alternative to building Darmstadt High school he said would be to again expand Frankfurt High school where a $6.09 million addition was completed just before the 1988-89 school High school would serve an estimated 225 students in grades seven through 12 in the Moers-m6n-Chengladbach area.
