I just had to Hook his head and Armand bring him Back said Cortese of his elusive opponent. Cortese scored a three Point near fall with 02 left in the match to pull out the Victory. David Halpin gave the untouchables from Heidelberg a Gold in the 112 category by Deci Sioning Ryan Russell of Stuttgart 10-4. Central european meet Halpin took a narrow 5-4 Lead into the third round. He hit a two Point reversal then tilted Russell for three Points an the 10-4 win. The nickname the untouchables is the product of Heidelberg coach Phil Godbolt who earlier in the Day sense team glory. The Only returning Champion  of Wurzburg successfully claimed another title. Werner won the 112 title in 1988 an this year took the 119 title by easing past a spidery Jeff Bradshaw of Wiesbaden. Bradshaw took a 2-0 Lead on a takes a l. Emmett Lewis or. Heidelberg High s Mizzi Cortese rear goes for an  lock and head lock against Frankfurt s Carlos Cali in 103-Pound final. Another Niernberg wrestler Gary Godbee succumbed to Pitburg s tyke mix in the 152 final Nix winning 5-0. Berlin s Tony Alston won the 171 Bertwith an 8-3 decision against Wurzburg s Shawn Harris. Forward Kiki Vandeweghe dissatisfied with his backup role to starter Jerome Kersey had asked to be traded. Vandeweghe was in los Angeles and no playing pending outcome of Trade talks. The Trad ing deadline is feb. 23. Kersey also had said that he or Vandeweghe had to be traded for the team s problems to be resolved.
