People continue to abuse dangerous and life threatening substances because they like the a High a the feeling of Well being the elevated mood. Because Young people May feel immortal they done to think anything can happen to them so even when aware of the risks adolescents might be motivated to continue inhalant use for the following reasons a a sense of adventure. A a need for stimulation. A a desire to be like others in the group. A to escape from reality. Drugs can give rewards without work. You can be an accepted member of a group without any contributions or responsibilities except the desire to use the drug.
