T in Central european Tennis championships run for three Days starting thursday and once again the Beautiful Vitis Tennis Squash Center in Nordenstedt just outside Wiesbaden will be the Central site for the Competition. Matches also will be played at the Ever court facility in Hofheims Wallau and Tennis Halle Christ in Hochheim. Matches have been scheduled at All three centers thursday and Friday beginning at 8 . All of saturdays action takes place on the Nordenstedt courts. Thirty three schools will be competing in the tournament. Each school is allowed to Send a boy and girl singles player and a boys and girls doubles team to the double elimination tournament. New champions Are guaranteed in All four classifications because the 1989 boys and girls singles champions Bamberg a Duane Cambra and Wurzburg a Marisa Sellers the Ramstein Marc Champagne Tom Fuhrmann winning boys tandem and the Frankfurt Shea Spradlin Cathy Simonsen winning girls duo All have been graduated. Coaches played most of the boys and girls both singles and doubles in order to give them More experience. So the mentors had to make some choices before the tournament seeds were made following last weeks final week of regular season Competition. Jorg Haffner who finished third in the 1989 boys singles and has been playing no. 1 for accent and is undefeated this season has to rate among the favourites.
