The big schools volleyball tournament is scheduled for Ramstein and the Small schools meet is set for accent. The Central european sin Cross country Are at Heidelberg and football semifinals Are set for Wiesbaden Mannheim bad Kreuz Nach and Fulda. The top four teams from both the aaa and a qualified for the big schools volleyball tournament last week and will compete in olympic Pool style Competition at Ramstein s South gymnasium. Heidelberg Ramstein Nimberg and Pitburg Are in Pool i Patch Frankfurt Mannheim and Kaiserslautern Are in Pool ii. Patch completed its regular season Competition undefeated by sweeping through the a tournament. Ramstein upset previously undefeated Heidelberg in the aaa eliminations but bowed to Frankfurt and those three teams finished with 5-1 records. Heidelberg got the title and top seed in its group through a Superior tie breaking Standard. Competition starts at 9 . And the championship match is scheduled for 7 . The Lions Are two time defending champions. The top six teams two each from the a North a South and Bennor tournaments advanced to the Small schools Field with Berlin Ulm and Bonn sailing through the respective tournaments undefeated. Bonn won its sixth straight conference championship. Ulm has been top seeded in Pool i and will compete with Bonn and Baum older top rated Berlin faces Vilseck and Brussels in Pool ii. Kaiserslautern shape Ramstein and Giessen have won two straight championships in the last 16 years. Kaiserslautern beat Heidelberg in 1979 and 1980 shape Defeated Bamberg in 1983 and 1984 Ramstein toppled Nimberg and Pitburg in 1986 and 1987, and Giessen conquered Munich in 1986 and 1987.
