In East Central Kansas Strong thunderstorms developed from 25 Miles North of Manhattan to 15 Miles Northwest of Emporia. The strongest storm was 25 Miles Northwest of Emporia. In North Central Iowa intense thunderstorms with heavy rain continued just East of Belmond and extended into the Eastern portions of Northwest Iowa. Wet Stormy was scattered from the Southwest to Florida on thursday and hot air blew across the Plains and Florida while Cool temperatures invaded the Northern Rockies and great lakes.
