A a a Baum older a Jimmy Lassister won four events in the Northern regional a the 100, 200, Long jump and triple jump a and eight other athletes were triple winners in last weeks qualifying for the Central european track and Field championships at Munich a Dante stadium thursday and Friday. Petition Mannne Roe won the a 100, 110 High hurdles and 300 Hur in other boys Competition Mannheim a Greg Mon does and Hanau Santonio Pena and Hahn a Craig Downing triumphed in the 800,1,500 and 3,000 in the aaa and Northern regional respectively. Pena turned in season Best efforts in his triple win at Wurzburg running the 800 in 2 00.7, the 1,500 in 4 12.6 and the 3,000 in 9 30. Other season Best efforts turned in in the boys Competition was a 51.1 in the 400 by Ramstein a Martin Smiley a 15.2 and a 48-83/4 by Augsburg a Terry Austin in the 110 highs and shot put respectively a 40.3 clocking in the 300 hurdles by Kaiserslautern a Thomas Harden and a 13-0 pole vault by Mannheim a Dan Swain. A duplicate was achieved in the girls distance races too. Bonne a Tracey Losi dominated the Northern regional Ramstein a Teri Duthie the aaa. Andrea Reed went into the class 4 Competition undefeated in All around Competition this year. Karen Hassebrock has dominated the optional Competition by winning the All around title every week Bronwyn summer and eve Mechanic Are the top class 6 performers and Nina Mikelatos has posted outstanding scores against her class 5 rivals. Vicenza pulled off the feat saturday by outscoring american overseas school of Rome 4-2 in the tournament deciding shootout after the two squads had battled through 80 minutes of regulation play and two 10-minute overtime periods without a goal.
