On tuesday they got one making a bold move to Ward a run at a Stanley cup by acquiring Veteran goal tender Grant Fuhr from the Toronto Maple Leafs. Fuhr a member of five Stanley cup teams with the Edmonton oilers and a former Czina trophy Winner instantly become the no. 1 net incr with the sabres. This is a major move for Buffalo. You can t ask for a better goalie than Grant Edmonton Oiler Center Craig Mactavish said. The move solidifies a team that already  a lot of Talent. I really think Buffalo becomes a Strong contender now. There Aren t Many better goaltenders in the league and that s where it All starts from the goal  Buffalo sent Daren Puppa Veteran left Wing Dave Andrychuk and a first round pick in 1993 to Toronto while the sabres will have an option on either a fifth round selection in 1995 or a sixth round pick in 1994. Buffalo got one hell of a Deal Edmonton coach Ted Green said. Fuhr will make a big difference for them.
