Climbing the ancient temples on the same Steps the romans used sitting on the rough Hen rocks of the. Amphitheater and Reading the multilingual signs including English detailing the area s history is surely a history lesson second to none. Getting there leave Basel on the East Side of the City and take the im2-n3 across the Rhine. Continue on the Motorway until you see the Liestal Augst exit. Take the exit and follow the signs to Augusta Vaurica. Trees have taken Root on the scats of the old Amphitheater left. A Marker remains on one of the temples at Augusta Vaurica.
