A few rooms in the building Are dedicated to the history of the town but the Best thing is to skip the rooms and go straight to the top. From the Tower visitors can look out Over the sprawling landscape in the Hills that form the infamous Fulda Gap. It s a wonderful place to be at noon when the Bells ring. Mention Fulda and it contours cold War images of barbed wire Garrison Camps Muddy jeeps driving through the Snow and a terrified local population cowering in fear of the enemy. But Fulda is far from that. As a baroque bastion of religion in Germany Fulda is a pleasant diversion for a Day or More. ,1 a View Down the Street that eventually passes in front of the Cathedral above.
