Wilkin son appeared to say something to Gra nato who retaliated with his stick. Obviously it was a match penalty so it was not a Good play Granato said. It All happened so fast. It was a Good hit by him because there was no penalty called. I was glad to see he played the  Granato one of four Kings with 100 penalty minutes this season received a minor penalty for slashing in the second period. His match penalty will be re viewed by the nil. But Chicago coach Darryl Sutler was cynical saying he did not expect Granato to receive much of a punishment from the league. A Bob horse Reynolds a former Stanford All America who played for the Detroit Lions and an executive for the California Angels and los Angeles rams has died. He was 79. Reynolds died tuesday at his Home in san Rafael Stanford University said wednesday. Reynolds a 6-foot-4, 225-Pound tackle played for Stanford from 1933 to 1936. He played every minute of three straight Rose bowl games for Stanford on both sides of the Ball a total of 180 minutes. He was elected to the National foot Ball foundation College Hall of Fame in1961. He also was selected to the Rose bowl Hall of Fame and the Stanford University football All Century team. After he was graduated from Stanford in 1936 with a degree in economics Rey nolds was drafted by the Chicago Cardi nals but decided not to play. His rights later were acquired by the Detroit Lions.
