Kelly said organizers were making plans to shift the Competition to the near by ska rink a half mile away just As they did at the last minute with Short track Speed skating events tuesday night. Kelly said there was virtually no Chance of figure skating going ahead at Yub Ileine where it had been scheduled to run for four nights wednesday through saturday. Kelly said wednes Day s events will be moved to thursday and thursday s to Friday. Events will be doubled up either Friday or saturday. The move will pose considerable Logis tical challenges. The ska venue holds Only 3,000 people and television cameras lights and scoring equipment will All have to be set up in a hurry. Goodwill games Kelly said Yub Ileine officials had mis led organizers about the ice making capabilities. There s still some vestiges of the old soviet system in not wanting to give any bad news he said.
