These so called Snow crunches make the going Tough and tumbles can be Nasty. While we did t have the usual. Morning ice and we did t have Snow crunches we could t see Worth a Damn  the Glacier god smiled. The tips of surrounding leaks spiked the gloom. The shroud steadily withdrew Down the Mountain. In less than an hour All the majesty of the surrounding Alps was revealed. Skiing was a Joy. The temperature hovering around freezing perfectly maintained the Snow condition. The runs opened up All the Way Down to the base Lodge permitting a Jong sweeping run of better than a Milea pretty fair length by . By bus departure time we d had the Chance to get in four hours of skiing quit enough for the first Day of the season especially at an oxygen thin High Altitude location. While Many of the now weary skiers grabbed a few  during the two hour ride Back to Carmich others talked about their Glacier Outing i m very impressed by this Glacier skiing but it s definitely intermediate level. I think a beginner would have a very hard time of it said dr., Dan Flynn a 40-year-old podiatrist assigned to the army Hospital at Wurzburg Germany the trip got High Marks from Derick Brough a 21-year-old army military policeman also from Wurzburg. The wonderful weather totally turned the Glacier skiing around. Today s was probably the Best Day of skiing i be done in Europe said the intermediate skier from Pekin ind. Today s weather and Snow conditions delivered the Best Glacier skiing i be encountered in nine years said Hans Chan an arc sports specialist who guided our tour.
