Their Are lots of things to consider Levels of difficulty Quality of facilities proximity and Price of accommodations and the Type of crowd. But some places still stand out above others and to find out which ones those Are we asked those in the know the local ski clubs. The clubs were asked to suggest out of the Way resorts that most skiers Don t know about but would probably want to they were also asked to list their five top resorts and what they considered the most difficult runs. Most clubs stuck with popular resorts but still came up with a variety of places to ski. The Frankfurt International ski club recommended the relatively Little known area of Elaine France a ski Village built in the Shadow of Mont Blanc. One of the favorite trips of the Heidelberg International ski club which Marks its 39th anniversary this year is its annual pilgrimage to Austria s Arlberg Region and the town of stuben. The top spot for the Augsburg ski club is Kro Platz in Italy s dolomites. The club said the slopes Are wide open and Long the weather sunny and pleasant and the food is wonderful and abundant. And Best of All most runs have either chair or Cabin lifts so it is easy to avoid those tiresome to bars. In Italy the 10-year-old Naples Sci Marco ski club is High on Rocc Araso. This town in the Abruzzi mountains about 21/2 hours from Naples has a variety of slopes for All Levels of skiers. Modern condominiums and hotels have been built to accommodate the growing crowd and the tiny Refuge atop Monte pizza i to is a great place to Admire the. Scenery and ski fashions. For the 11 the straight year the Aviano ski club will be going to one of its favorite resorts Madonna i Campiglio.
