The next three scores came on one Yard plunges by Haden giving Pitburg a 23-0lead. Pitburg went 69 Yards in 10 plays with Marvin Abney grabbing an eight Yard pass from Beesley for its third score of the third period at 5 22. Beesley passed 20 Yards to Bennie Hampton and 30 to Jack Mcle Nanto Spear the push. Haden ended a 53-Yard drive in six plays with a five Yard run that made it 51-9 with Only 1 31 gone in the fourth Perod. An 18 Yard draw by Haden and a 15-Yard bees Ley to Haden pass helped. Helms broke up a pass Barnes in the game on defense too broke up another and Moultrie just missed another interception on the next play Duke Moses ame up with another interception but this too was nullified by a holding penalty giving Rhein main a fourth and one on the nine. Lynch got it on a keeper and Harris who ran for 109 Yards in addition to his to Jaunt picked up three on an end sweep. Lynch called a draw play with Only 46 seconds remaining. But Wiesbaden did t fall for it and James Murphy got Only a Yard. Lynch tried two More passes but both fell untouched As Wiesbaden s de sense saved the game. There was some great defense there in the end. The linemen put on a Good Rush and the backs did their jobs superbly. Rhein main has a very Good team there and i thought our Guys did a great Job in stopping them.
