Parkes career As a professional racing Driver ended at the belgian grand prix in 1967 at spa Franco champs when he crashed at High Speed in his Ferrari breaking a leg and suffering severe head injuries. During his sports car career with Ferrari where he also served As a test Driver Parkes took second place in the 24 hours of be mans in 1961 and a third in 1963. Victories in Ferrari cars came in 1964 at the 12 hours of Sebring 1965 and 66 at the 1,000 Kilometres of Monza and in the 1,000 Kilometre races a spa and Paris also in 1966. After retiring from racing Parkes managed the private Fili Pinetti Ferrari team and he also was in charge of a private team of Fiat 128s in the european touring car championship a few seasons Back. At the time of his death he was working for the italian Lancia rally team. Claire Bartholomew of the ., who shared the Lead with Lake dropped four strokes behind with an 84 and a 166 total. Lake had seven pars on the front Side and five on the Back for his 39-4180. In his one under 35 on the front Side Sniffen carded eight pars with a 12-foot Birdie putt on the Par-3,140-Yard no. 4. Sniffen came Home with a 15-foot Birdie putt at the 421-Yard no. 10 Hole and had an other Bird at the 396-Yard Par four no. 14. On the Par-5 506-Yard 16th, Sniffen was on in two and Sank a 15-footer for his first Eagle. On the 425-Yard final Hole Clyde boomed a 250-Yard drive put his second shot within inches of the Green and then canned a 30-footer for his Eagle. Another left handed woman Grace Kishaba of Heidelberg a year in year out entrant in the wisc Queens tourney in the states won the third Day with a 555 series on games of 152, 231 and 172. The meet was the first Abc wisc tour Ney of the season. There were 462 entries.
