Jerry wyness a professor of physical education at san Francisco state University has been named commissioner of the Westcoast athletic conference. Wyness 48 succeeds the Rev. Robert Sunderland who has resigned. Wyness is a native of los Angeles who graduated from the University of Nevada Reno a wac school. He received a Mas ters in physical education at san Jose state and a doctorate of education from Oregon. He has been at san Francisco state 10years
