At a festival of traditional hawaiian music held at Hau Ula on Oahu islanders showed up decked out in the Ever present Plumeri blossoms in the hair and around the neck and wearing the popular tube Rose Lei left above. In photo below left a teen Ager has decorated her braided hair with Small White Mahu Paka blossoms and has pinned the larger Tiare blooms Over her ear. At right below Lei maker skip Tomiyama displays some of her creations. The Dif Ferent Flowers and ferns hold different meanings signifying a certain Island or a special occasion. Up photos
