While a number of such surveys have been conducted in the private sector Little formal research has been conducted among Federal civilian personnel Gallo Way said in an interview Friday. A research team from the air Force Institute of technology fit in Dayton Ohio working with the Usan directorate of civilian personnel will conduct the study. The findings will be used to evaluate and improve air Force policies and programs Galloway said. It. Col. T. We re not on a Witch Hunt Galloway said stressing that 17,000 randomly selected employees from 50 stateside bases will be asked to Volunteer for the Survey. Manley is hoping to have groups of 80 employees to respond to the Survey when it is administered at the bases. We Are stressing that the participants be volunteers and that they be assured of anonymity Manley said. He explained that the Survey would not be administered overseas because there Are fewer employees to Volunteer and for that reason anonymity May be jeopardized.
