But pathologist de Willey who was hired by har vey s attorney disputed the findings on the time of the rodent s death. Willey said that because the mouse had been kept i Beer it would have decomposed More slowly than it would have at a natural rate. I suggest that the Only appropriate interpretation of or. Buergelt s findings is that the death of the mouse was at least one week prior to autopsy and possibly several Days or More prior to the Canning of the product Willey said. Baird said experts were asked to determine if the condition of the mouse was consistent with one that had been in a Beer can for that time. The answer is a resounding no she said. There was a one week lapse from the time Harvey reported his find to Coors until the mouse was exam ined.
