Artukovich a son Radoslav alleges that the nazi Hunting unit the office of special investigations withheld evidence that might have cast doubt on two witnesses whose testimony was used against his father during extradition proceedings. Radoslav Artukovic said he had obtained conflicting affidavits by witnesses against his father and alleged that officials from the special investigations office withheld those affidavits less favourable to their Case the times said. According to one affidavit a former serbian police chief Tronjo Truhar testified in 1952 that during the War Artukovic had ordered an imprisoned lawyer to be killed. The execution was carried out in july 1941, Truhar said. But in a 1951 affidavit Truhar never mentioned Artukovich a alleged order to execute the lawyer. Radoslav Artukovic obtained documents that contradict an affidavit obtained in 1984 from Bajro Avdic. Avdic said he saw Artukovic order soldiers to massacre innocent civilians. But Radoslav Artukovic said the Man had submitted three previous statements dating Back to 1946 that differed substantially.
