The War in the persian Gulf has increased the demand for arabic speaking specialists in the department of defense,.-and 24 service members have answered a a a the Call by enrolling in a new course at the foreign language training Center Europe in Munich Germany. During the 24-week course which began jan/14, they Are struggling to learn a language that has no common basis with. English or any other language they know. The students Are already proficient in a second language such As German russian or czech. It was one prerequisite for the course. All of the students Anil instructors because of the sensitive nature of their jobs and the threat of terrorism did not want their names used or pictures taken.
