In other games wednesday pirates 5, Phillies 3 Pittsburgh a Pittsburgh beat Philadelphia for the 14th straight time thanks to run scoring doubles by Bobby Bonilla and Barry Bonds and a Homer saving catch from Bonds. John Kruks first inning Homer off John Smiley 14-8 helped the Phillies take a 3-0 Lead. But after striking out seven times in the first three innings against Tommy Greene 8-5the pirates scored four times in the fourth on rib singles by Andy Van Slyke and Bonds sandwiched around Bonillas two run double. Barnes 3-4 retired 14 batters in a Row in one stretch before walking his fourth Batter George Bell with one out in the ninth. Barry Jones got the last two outs for his ninth save
