A band of Clouds and showers stretched from in Dana through Maine Early saturday and parts of the South and the Pacific coastline were fogged in. Sunshine was forecast for the Plains and Mississippi Valley later in the Day with temperatures expected to be below Normal for the season. Temperatures in the Northeast were expected to be about 15 degrees lower than Friday. Snow Flur Ries were called for Over the great lakes Region and a freeze was anticipated in much of the Midwest. Forecasters said temperatures would be in the 40s and 50s in the Northeast and Northern Plains the 60s in the Midwest and mid Atlantic states the 70s in the much of the South and West the 80s and 90s in Florida Texas and Central California and Over 100 in the southwestern deserts.
