Thompsons first touchdown a 10-Yara run capped a 55-Yard Bearcat drive in the first Quarter. Quarterback Jesse Janssen put the bearcats up 13-0 with a 20-Yard scoring strike to receiver Monty Debose. Peterson scored on runs of 2 and 22 Yards and Murray scored from the 19-and the 7-Yard lines. Hanau improved to 6-1 with the no conference Victory. Patch fell to 1-7.numberg 15, Blob org 7 Nurnberg Germany a the Niernberg eagles clinched a tie for first place and assured themselves of a big schools semifinal berth Friday night by coming from behind to beat the Pitburg Barons 15-7 in a Germany a football game Here Friday night. The Victory raised  a league record to 5-0 and its season Mark to 6-1. The eagles finish league Competition nov. 9 at Giessen which fell out of a tie for the Lead by losing to Stuttgart 20-9 saturday. Pitburg fell to 1-4 in a play 1-6 on the year. The two teams battled through a scor less first half in the bitter cold but Pitburg broke the scoring ice with 6 36 remaining in the third period on a 32-Yard pass from Matt Claxton to Mike Roberts that capped a 67-Yard drive. Jamie Mcclellan booted the Pat to make it 7-0. Niernberg finally hit pay dirt with 3 51 remaining in the game the touchdown coming on Steve Murrells 25-Yard pass to Mike Shea. The touchdown terminated a 73-Yard, 12-play drive which was highlighted by Aaron walkers 22-Yard run. Eagle coach Tom Lockyer went for the two Point conversion and Murrell made it work with a ass to James Griffin. Vicenza 2-4, Powers to Italy Crown Aviano Italy a Chalk one up for the underdog. The Vicenza cougars did taking a 2216 overtime Victory from the favored Avi Ano saints to capture the Italy High school football championship sunday. Aviano 4-0 entering the game  hold Back the 1-4 cougars who beat 2-2 Naples to earn a berth in the Italy playoffs. Carlos Moore brought Home the game Winner from the 5 in the extra period of r the Victory. Moore gained 57 Yards on seven carries. Divoll Wilson got Vicenza on the Board on an 11-Yard run and Steve Turel Las Pat made it 7-0. Aviano struck Back on Anton Phillips 10-Yard run and his conversion pass to Eric Hernandez to make it 8-7. Turella a 17-Yard Field goal made it 10-8. Phillips again scored on an 11-Yard run and Moore a conversion run made it 16-10. But then Vicenza erupted for a 74-Yard scoring strike from Greg Vaughn to Rob burrs tied it at 16 and sent the game into of where Moore a heroics won it. Wilson led All rushers with 127 Yards on 36 carries. Phillips gained 221 Yards on 28 Rushing attempts
