Now How is it that you go to a football or baseball game in our own country where resources and goods Are plentiful and pay about $2 for a cold soda How do you figure it Well the next time i go to a movie theater for a $2 soda and they say you can go nowhere to get things at face value these Days ill Tell them they re right in be been there. A 1st it. Matt a. Chapman Kuwait City a blacklist car dealer apparently Toyota car world knows the couple can to or wont pursue the matter in court so they wont pay. My comment have the company at least blacklisted made off limits to gis. This wont save the couple any Money but it will keep other soldiers from being taken advantage of. Unfortunately the bad news is not yet Over for the couple. I noticed the company a sign states a tax the car the couple bought is Only tax deferred taxes must be paid on the full Purchase Price of the vehicle at the time it is first registered in the United states. This could easily amount to Over $1,000. I consider any claim otherwise As fraudulent. Al. To Sec Augsburg Germany a a unsatisfied car buyer in july i bought a 1992 Honda Accord sex from the Auto Exchange dealer in Darmstadt. The car 1 received had a Dent in the left rear door. It was obvious the Dent was a manufacturing defect As there were no scratches or Marks on the door. The car was obviously painted at the factory with the Dent in the door. 1 pointed out the defect to the dealer who did not notice the Dent when he accepted delivery from the Carrier. 1 told the dealer 1 would wait for another car but he insisted he would have the door replaced at a local Honda garage. I had no reason to doubt the dealers integrity As he had been quite honest and helpful prior to the cards delivery. The dealer arranged for the car to be repaired at a local Honda garage. Not until i picked up the car did i learn that the door had not been replaced. The repairman simply pounded out the Dent and painted the door s Bottom half. The door was masked for painting which left an obvious Ridge on it. There were also areas of the door that were not painted. 1 asked the repairman Why the door had not been replaced. He gave me a copy of the authorization order from Auto Exchange which provided reimbursement to paint the door not replace it. 1 took the car Back to the Auto Exchange dealer to voice my displeasure. He was a a surprised the door had not been replaced. He again assured me he would Correct the problem. Two weeks later i received his reply. Under German Law the Auto Exchange had no recourse but to allow the Honda garage the Opportunity to Correct their mistake. The dealer returned the car to the garage and i waited four Days. Again i was disappointed. The repairman simply removed the ride created by masking the door but did not repaint the exposed areas of the door. Again 1 returned the car to the Auto Exchange dealer who was again i told him 1 wanted a new car. I was tired of being jerked around. 1 paid for a new car and i wanted a no Quot car not a new car with body work. The dealer called Auto Exchange Headquarters in Kronberg to relay my demand. Their reply under German Law they had to allow the Honda garage another Opportunity to Correct their mistake. On oct. 22, a representative from Honda deutschland a a inspected the car and determined it had no manufacturing defect. My complaint is not with the Honda garage that painted the car. My complaint is with Auto Exchange which sold me a defective car and so far has refused to properly Correct the problem. Once you accept delivery of a car from Auto Exchange you Are a a closed a 1st it. Michael t. Lets say for instance i have a project to do for biology and lets also say that its a Model of a cell. So i go to the pm for some supplies. Well i find the tabs for it but i can to seem to find the modelling Clay. So i go to the Craft shop and they Nave everything. They have the Clay also the poster Board to put it on. The Point is that the Post commander close the Craft shop because people can to find the materials they need for projects. The shop May not be bringing in enough Money but we expect it to because its not like Burger Kang or the food mall and the pm. Its there because people use it for school and Home projects and if they done to know what to look for they just ask the employees who work there. They always know what they Are doing and Are willing to help. A Matthew Mathwich Wurzburg is Germany poor pm Bike Assembly normally in a not a complainer however As a Community member at Bremer Haven 1 have to voice some concerns regarding bicycle Assembly practices and procedures at the Bremerhaven main Exchange. In truth the pm procedures Are downright Sloppy. For example Brake levers and shift levers Are installed so As to interfere with each other wheel nuts Are not tightened affecting steering and braking pedals Are not tightly installed handlebars Are not tightened securely resulting in faulty and unsafe steering derailleurs Are not properly adjusted nor arc brakes. It should be noted that steering and braking Are serious safety concerns not Mere cosmetic functions. Where does this much ballyhooed cafes customer satisfaction come in 1 have seen the above mentioned deficiencies three four or five times a week for the past several years while working for outdoor recreation As a bicycle repairman. 1 have handled dozens of new bikes coming from the pm for the proper adjustments and or Assembly at additional customer expense. It would seem reasonable to me that when a customer lays out a pile of Money for a Nice Bike he or she should be Able to get on it and ride away in Complete Confidence and safety. A Lamar b. Anderson Bremerhaven Germany a a a summer hire snafu last summer my two daughters worked on the summer hire program on base. Generally speaking both of them reported that they had a pleasant and rewarding experience. Now almost two months after the program finished i have come to two conclusions. If they had been paid for the work they did it would have been even More rewarding. If some departments were As eager to Trace the reason As to Why my daughters Haven to been paid As they were to recruit them initially this letter be necessary. While they were working in the program they both received their first Check then nothing else. After numerous inquiries i finally called the v corps in. I was told they would see what they could do and to Contact them again after two weeks. A matter of Days after this Call one of my daughters received a Check which was the final one she should have received. There was no mention As to where her other checks were or any information regarding the whereabouts of the missing checks belonging to my other daughter. After the appearance of the solitary Check i decided to give the in a Little More time a Over three weeks in fact. On both occasions when i called was put on hold for More than is minutes. I can understand they might be Busy but As i work in a military installation my time is also precious and i would have thought that Courtesy might have dictated at least an acknowledgement of my Call. On both occasions i was forced to hang up. At that time one of my daughters was owed three checks and the other had four somewhere in limbo and i was no nearer to finding out where the checks were. An shows us who to dial if we need to Call the Usa eur hotline or if we suspect a fraud waste and our local newsletter tells us who to Call in Case of fire physical abuse or even if we need to order a pizza. Is there a number to Call if you suspect that no one out there especially those departments and agencies who Are supposed to be responsible for certain actions seems to give a Damn a Pamela l.
